I recommend Famous Five Band. They are great. The band played at my son and daughter-in-law's wedding at the Burley Manor Hotel in the New Forest on June 20th. They played a range of very convincing covers from 60s to present and quickly had a great rapport with the guests whose ages ranged from 4 to 74. They even didn't complain when a number of the 20 somethings used their mics to sing Hey Jude while the band packed up at the end. If I need a band again I would not hesitate to book them.

Thanks for your email, we really enjoyed the event at The Saddlers Arms and it was great to meet you.
We loved the sound of The Famous Five and are really excited that you are going to play at our wedding reception. We particularly liked Simon and Julia's harmonies and would be thrilled if they could both be there.
We anticipate an 8pm start for the band, and will be in an adjoining room, so you can arrive and set up whenever is convenient to you. We will keep you posted of anything different as we still need to finalise a few more details with our reception venue.

Hi Mike!

It only took you a couple of weeks to get back to us and I'm ashamed to say it has taken us more than a couple of months to return your email.

We had a thoroughly fantastic time at our party and so did all our friends by the comments we received afterwards. Your performances were really professional and catered for our enormous age range (8-80) perfectly with something for everyone. Everyone really appreciated the quieter party background music in between the live sets. So many people had not seen each other for so long they also needed to talk as well as dance and the music was just loud enough to keep the party spirit alive, but also allow some conversation.

We would not hesitate to recommend you in the future...one of my friends (who was at the party) has recently asked for your number and my husband and I are involved in a couple of schools who regularly hold school balls and think you would be better than previous bands we have used for these occasions...so watch this space!
