We recently got your details when you played at our friends’ wedding on Easter Saturday of this year, at City of London Freemans School, Ashtead, Surrey.  We thought you were great and are exactly the type of band we are looking for, for our own wedding reception.  We will be holding our reception just outside of Winchester in a private house (Avington Park) on Saturday 19 May 2012.

Would you be available on this date and if so could you please give me an idea of costs/quote.  We are having 100 guests and the main dance floor/party area will be in the library/conservatory.

A brief note to say many, many thanks for making last Saturday’s bash at West Hill such a success – you were terrific!

I apologise for the delayed start.  I was desperate to get you on as soon as possible, because I knew everyone would enjoy it and have a blast!  So thank you for doing two long sets rather than the three we had planned – greatly appreciated.

News of the gig has travelled around the Club and Gina, our Club Manager, has asked for your details, so hopefully we will see you back at West Hill again one day.

Dear Mike,

We had such a good time on Saturday night and felt it was another great evening for the Windlesham Picnic – and as you know this event in this format has been running for close on 30 years – although we have hosted only now for 4.  Thank you so much to you and the band for contributing to making the evening such a success.

We had our wrapping up committee meeting last night and all of us felt the evening went superbly.  We were especially pleased that with relatively short notice you were able to find Hawaiian style costume which certainly added to the occasion in a big way.  I am pleased to attach a picture which you might like!  I hope that your family members also enjoyed the occasion.

I am pleased to say that we all are of the opinion that you must come back!  We would be delighted if you can join us on Saturday 30th June 2012 for a fourth successive year!  I do hope this date is clear in your diaries!

The theme will be decided in January however I’m sure it will be something related to the Olympics eg. ‘Olympiads’ or ‘Great Sports’ or what ever.  The ticket price will remain the same – £12.50.  We will not start advertising until after Christmas just in case of any need for changes – however if it goes on your web site just please record the event and date at this stage.  No contact details.

All the very best to you and the band over the next year – see you on Saturday at West Hill Golf Club.

Hi Julia & FF!!

A massive, yet a little belated (although I hadn’t forgotten!) hello & THANK YOU for making my friend Donna’s Freaky Fortieth Horror Movie party such a SMASH HIT!
Absolutely everyone is still raving how great it was, especially the music! You are such good sports to not only tolerate a very drunken mummy, but to jam with his awful wails he thought was singing. Lyrics were a bit random too!  But it did make for a fun ending!

I have been recommending you to everyone and should I ever be in the honoured position of organising a gig – you guys are top of the list! I think Andrea is sorting all the photos this weekend, so I am sure the best will be winging their way to you – I know I took pics of the band with the disposable cameras – cant promise how focussed they will be!!

Anyway further to our after gig chat, as I promised I would contact you, should you need some marketing material, promotional stuff i.e. anything no matter large or small, such as flyers, cards, banners, pop up stands for your back drops…we would love to help you! Wedding Reception held at The Manor Barn, Buriton, Petersfield, Hampshire

Mike and the band,

Sorry for the delay in writing but although the happy couple didn’t go away on holiday, the proud parents went off on a cruise.

Can we thank you for your professionalism and an absolutely fantastic set at the Manor Barn to celebrate Gemma and Gavin’s wedding on the 21st May 2011.  The guests were on the dance floor from the first to the last song and enjoyed every minute of the evening.  We would recommend anyone arranging a similar function to book you without delay otherwise they may miss out.

We are hoping to see you at The Cricketers in August (You must play Comfortably Numb ….. not ABBA!!)  So until then, I hope you enjoy all the other gigs this Summer…..it looks as though you barely have a week off!
