This is great venue with good food, friendly staff, a fantastic landlord and a really appreciative, enthusiastic crowd.

We always enjoy playing here - it makes a brilliant start to the weekend!

We had to be the DJ and Disco at the end of the night because this venue has an 11pm CURFEW ON LIVE MUSIC. Luckily they do allow recorded music to be played from then until midnight.

It's always worth asking your venue for full details of any restrictions such as this.

Beware of venues with "noise limiters" or "sound limiters" many of which are set to switch off the mains to the band at quite a low volume. If such devices keep tripping the mains this will spoil the enjoyment of your event.

Music for dancing does not have to be stupidly loud (we value our hearing!) but experience has shown that it has to be loud enough or people just don't come onto the dance floor.

Liesbeth and Garry on lead vocals. Garry did lead vocals AND keys at this gig. Dunstable United Services Club were so impressed with our performance that they re-booked us for New Years Eve 2009.

This was one of the few gigs with only five of us. We are very fortunate to have a choice of two keyboard players each of whom can sing lead vocals as well as playing keys.

The keyboard player didn't run fast enough to get in this shot!

We can do "black tie" or DJs if required but then the Band looks just the same as the guests which obviously reduces the visual effect of the live entertainment.

We loved playing at Joolee and Trev's wedding reception. They, their family and friends had a real party and everyone, including us, had a great time.
